The New York Feminist Art Institute, of which Peslikis was a founding member, began in 1979 and offered a radical feminist art education for women. In 1981 Peslikis was voted off the Institute's board of directors, prompting the resignation of others. This stemmed from a disagreement about racial intergration in the Institute. Includes workshop and course announcements, related correspondence and articles, grant proposals, and letters of resignation from board members due to the controversy over the organization's racial politics. Arrangement is chronological.
