Duke Magazine is the Duke-focused alumni magazine of Duke University. Robert Bliwise is the founding editor, with the magazine since 1983. The collection includes his files related to Presidents of the University, magazine policies and feedback, and the history of the publication.

Files include correspondence, article drafts, clippings, research materials, and other materials.

The Fifth Decade Program was part of a ten-year plan to expand educational and research programs, strengthen the faculty, and upgrade the physical plant. The collection includes the files of the Ad Hoc Committee on Quality, reports, printed material and clippings. It ranges in date from 1964-1973.

The collection includes reports, memoranda, correspondence, brochures, clippings, and other materials concerning the fund-raising campaign undertaken during President Knight's administration. The bulk of the collection consists of printed reports but in addition includes records of the Ad Hoc Committee on Quality in Relation to the Fifth Decade. Those records of the Ad Hoc Committee on Quality were official transfers. The provenance of other material is conjectural and is not considered to be official transfers. The material ranges in date from 1964-1973.

The Office of University Development is responsible for fund-raising programs in the areas of annual gifts, capital gifts, and program support. This collection contains correspondence, printed promotional materials, speeches, annual reports, and records related to fundraising. The collection also consists of a small number of photographs, questionnaires, and gift records.

This collection includes promotional materials; donor correspondence; annual reports/plans; a website archive, Campaign for Duke; and fund-raising materials such as mailings to alumni and parents. Additionally, there are VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs, floppy disks, and zip disks in the collection. Also contains a small number of photographs, questionnaires, and gift records.
