The Duke Student Engineers' Wives Club was formed in 1949 for the wives of engineering students as a social organization. The collection includes a scrapbook, photograph album of the children of club members, and a few materials related to the operations of the club in the 1950s.

The collection includes a scrapbook consisting largely of photographs which document the activities of the Club between 1949-1956, a photograph album of members' and former members' children and birth announcements, and some documents related to the activities of the club in the 1950s. Documents include the club's constitution, copies of diplomas given to members upon their husbands' graduation celebrating the contributions of the wives' to their husbands' studies, and meeting minutes describing event planning and other matters.

Collection
Contains the records of the School of Engineering at Duke University from 1931 to 2014. Includes records of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Engineering Student Government, and the Engineering Alumni Association. Type of materials include biographical files, general subject files, correspondence, photographs, clippings, rosters, minutes, reports, proposals, course descriptions, memoirs, honors, and vitae. Materials in subject files are roughly organized by topics. Engineering Alumni files are largely unordered. Faculty and staff biographical files are ordered alphabetically by last name. Some boxes are restricted.
