Collection consists of approximately 400 paper dolls, trade cards, bookmarks and other printed materials that comprised promotional packaging or premium gifts for a variety of products dating from the Victorian era to the 1980s. Dolls depict Mother Goose and other fairy tale and nursery rhyme characters; Victorian men, women and children; animals; occupations; and figures in military, international and ethnic dress. Product classes represented include coffee and other beverages, cotton and linen thread and other sewing supplies, food and patent and nonprescription drugs, Companies represented include A&P, Bendix, Clark's O.N.T., Coca-Cola, Estey Organ, General Mills, Horsman Dolls, J&P Coats, Kellogg, Lion Coffee, McLaughlin Coffee, Morton Salt, Munsingwear, Nestle, Pillsbury, Singer, Western and Southern Life Insurance and Worcester Salt. Collection consists primarily of 16mm films and film clips of television commercials, along with explanatory documentation for two films, How to Sell Creatively (produced by Dartnell Corporation) and Television Advertising Commercials (edited by Sagraves), and other printed materials. Carlton "Butch" Foust was an advertising executive who worked for J. Walter Thompson, Benton & Bowles, McCann-Erickson and other agencies, often in Latin America and Spain. Collection contains advertising and market research files, client files, brochures, tear sheets, annual reports, case histories, videocassettes, and other files documenting Foust's career as an advertising executive primarily in Latin America and Spain. Materials chiefly relate to Foust's work on behalf of clients such as Kraft Foods, Kellogg, Proctor & Gamble, Coca-Cola, and Unilever, as well as numerous alcoholic beverage companies. The Coca-Cola Company and its flagship product, Coca-Cola (a carbonated soft drink), were founded by John S. Pemberton in 1886. Collection contains seven advertising "Fact Sheets" created by the Advertising and Sales Promotion Department of the Coca-Cola Company in 1969. Acquired as part of the John W. Collection contains seven advertising "Fact Sheets" created by the Advertising and Sales Promotion Department of the Coca-Cola Company. The sheets address different avenues for marketing Coca-Cola, including television commercials and programs, Family Reunion Day, kits promoting the pairing of Coca-Cola with cheese and crackers, and more.

Of particular note is Fact Sheet 315, which addresses marketing to Black communities, whom the company identifies as an "important market segment." This fact sheet uses language such as "tell it like it is" and "soul series" to describe this marketing effort.

The Duplex Advertising Company. Billboard Images and Records spans the period 1964-1993 and documents the outdoor advertising work of this company in the central Texas area, primarily through photographs, negatives and slides of billboards. Many of the images are in color. A large number of the images are of national campaigns advertised in central Texas, as well as billboards, signs and posters of local Texas business services. In addition, a handful of articles written by R. V. Miller, Jr. for a number of publications, as well as other printed material and miscellaneous items from the Duplex Advertising Company, are present. Some of these articles, along with the images themselves, provide examples of commercial art and design in the outdoor advertising arena. The collection includes outdoor advertising images from national clients such as Kentucky Fried Chicken, Chevrolet, Coca Cola, Coors, Wendy's, Hardee's, and Taco Bell, and Texas clients such as Lone Star and Pearl beers.

Three binders of black-and-white and color photographs of a variety of products and services available in mid-20th century France. Photographs largely depict packaging and point-of-sale displays with some photographs of retail spaces and trade show displays. No explanatory text accompanies the photographs. Creator of the binders is unknown; however there are photographs showing a Publicis exhibit or office display. Product types depicted include alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (beer and liqueurs), Cigarettes, cosmetics and toilet preparations including feminine hygiene, food, household appliances, non-prescription drugs and remedies, and transportation. Advertising copy writer and artist who managed his own agency, Jean W. Yeager, Inc. based in Dallas, Tex. Later taught at several Waldorf Method institutions; director of the Anthroposophical Society in America. Collection spans the years 1959-2012 and includes correspondence, direct marketing printed materials, print advertisements and recordings of radio and television broadcast commercials and public service messages that document Yeager's career producing advertising primarily for companies based in Texas. Examples of Yeager's original art are also included. Formats include audio- and videocassettes, audio reels and 16mm films. Companies represented include 7-Eleven, Coca-Cola, Frito-Lay, Radio Shack, Republic Health Corporation, Schenley, Southland Corporation, and Sterling Optical.
