This is an artificial collection compiled by the Office of Alumni Affairs and contains material pertaining to the music and the origination of the Duke Ambassadors including one folder of background information and four CDs. Information about individual arrangers and performers on the CDs can be found in the Collection Control File. Reference copies of the CDs will need to be made for patron use. Materials in the collection date from 1947-2004, bulk 1947-1957.

The collection includes files from Duke Magazine founding editor Robert Bliwise, particularly related to presidents of the University, as well as policy documents, feedback on the magazine, and some historical materials. Files include correspondence, article drafts, clippings, research materials, and other materials.
Fifth Decade Program records, 1964-1973 1.5 Linear Feet — approx. 750 Items
The collection includes reports, memoranda, correspondence, brochures, clippings, and other materials concerning the fund-raising campaign undertaken during President Knight's administration. The bulk of the collection consists of printed reports but in addition includes records of the Ad Hoc Committee on Quality in Relation to the Fifth Decade. Those records of the Ad Hoc Committee on Quality were official transfers. The provenance of other material is conjectural and is not considered to be official transfers. The material ranges in date from 1964-1973.
Office of University Development records, 1947-ongoing 49 Linear Feet — 1 Gigabyte
Contains materials created and distributed by the Office of University Development in the promotion of the University and its programs in fund-raising efforts. This collection includes promotional materials, annual reports/plans, and a website archive, Campaign for Duke, as well as fund-raising materials such as mailings to alumni and parents. Additionally, there are VHS tapes and a DVD. There are a small number of photographs in this collection as well as questionnaires and gift records. The materials range in date 1947-ongoing.
