The majority of the materials in the Dance Companies and Dancers subseries are publicity photographs and press releases. Other materials include drafts of articles, advertisement copy, paste-ups, press clippings, resumes, correspondence, invoices, brochures, flyers, programs, contact sheets, 35 mm slides, and negatives. All folders in the subseries contain photographs, with the exception of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Gary Duncan, ISO, Belinda James, Sankai Juku, Diane Latchrupp and Paul Pellicorno, Sun Ock Lee, Neryda, and Newark Dance Theatre.
