Files in this series are about individuals including politicians, journalists, artists, business people, and military and movement leaders. Many have a specific African connection although some may not. A few of the names found here are Muhummad Ali, Steve Biko, Shirley Temple Black, Miriam Makeba, Ronald Reagan, and Walter Sisulu. Preceding the alphabetical listing of individuals' names is a folder for each letter of the alphabet that contains materials on several people. This file was maintained when there was only one or two articles about a person and did not yet warrant starting a separate folder.
