Scope and content:

Consists of 131 8x10 black and white prints. Subjects include tobacco farming and rural life in Madison County, North Carolina from the mid-1970s through the early 1990s. The majority of the prints follow the lives of Dellie and Junior Norton who farmed tobacco in the county. Dellie Norton was also an accomplished folk singer. Original captions and numbering taken from back of prints.
