Biographical / historical:

James W. Anderson (1931-2019) was a professor of public relations at the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications.

James Walter "Jim" Anderson was born Jan. 8, 1931 in Chicago. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean war and graduated from the University of Chicago. Anderson worked in public relations before joining the faculty at the University of Florida. He died Jan. 27, 2019 in The Villages, Fla.
