Scope and content:

Includes files concerning US military aid to Honduras and Department of Defense installations and activities there in the 1980s, as well as corruption and human rights abuses on the part of the Honduran government in the same period. Additionally includes files about human rights abuses committed by Argentinean and Chilean military regimes in the 1970s and 1980s and subsequent efforts at legal redress from the 1990s to the 2010s. Several files relating to broader issues of human rights accountability in Latin America and throughout the world are also present.
