Image is of a group of five older women in work dresses and aprons, apparently churning butter in a brick paved courtyard. Card is addressed to Miss Williams, Annestown, Tramore, which is a coastal town in southeast Ireland. The message reads: " 'My word,' if I catch you talking," followed by illegible initials.
- Biographical / historical:
- Henry Garner of Leicester, England, began printing the "Living Pictures Series" in 1904. This photographic postcard probably belongs to his press studio, though he is best known for his colorful and humorous comics postcards.
