Printed on front: Partridge / 1889, and in right front corner, 2832 Washington St. Boston. 19 Harvard St., Brookline. Two illegible words handwritten on back.

Biographical / historical:
William Partridge was the son of A.C. Partridge, a Boston photographer. After moving from Boston to Oregon in 1884, William returned and continued operating the Boston studio from 1886 until 1914. He died in Wellesley in 1939. [Source: Old Oregon Photos website, viewed August 31, 2021]
