Subseries is composed of materials stemming from Diamonstein-Spielvogel's Handmade in America, a book and television series discussing craftsmanship with several American artisans, including glass master Dale Chihuly, woodworker and artist Sam Maloof, and weaver Lia Cook. Formats chiefly consist of correspondence, printed materials, clippings, transcripts, notes, drafts, and other papers.
Divided into three subseries: General Working Files, Research Files, and Transcripts which are arranged alphabetically by folder title. Original folder titles have been retained.
Corresponding interviews and show clips are located in the Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel Audiovisual Materials Collection.
