Physical description:
80 slides
Scope and content:

These slides feature images of photographs contributed by an unidentified donor by the name of Brinkley. Two individuals with the last name Brinkley from Durham and Enfield, N.C. were interviewed for the Behind the Veil project, but it is unclear if they are the donors. Slide 20 shows the imaging set-up, with a photograph album on the camera table. Subjects are a mix of snapshots of family members and house interiors and exteriors. Most settings appear to be rural. A few images may be as early as the 1900s, while a few are in color and date in the later 20th century. Many with the same format and deckle edge are from the 1950s. People and locations are mostly unidentified, and there are few captions. Date range for the set was assigned by library staff and is approximate.
