This series contains correspondence received and sent by Bengis. Includes correspondence with artist Wilfried Kirschl. Also contains correspondence from literary agents, friend and family, including her mother and brother. There are also letters from Bengis's foster daughter, Lori. Later correspondence pertains to Bengis's life in Russia, the death of her mother, Maria Bengis, running her seafood business from Russia, and writing and publishing Metro Stop Dostoevsky. This series contains letters, greeting cards, and other forms of correspondence, including Aeromail.
Correspondence originally foldered by Bengis is noted in the file's scope and content notes. Additional folders were created by the processing archivist and are arranged by year.
