Contains the personal and professional correspondence of Sallie Bingham from the 1940s to 1998. It includes letters as a child and a schoolgirl to her nurse, letters to and from friends documenting her development as a writer and the details of her personal life, and later professional correspondence with writers, publishers, producers, and organizations. The correspondence for the years 1910-1950s is a mixture of letters to and from various family members such as Barry Bingham, Sr., Mary Bingham, Henrietta Bingham, and Robert "Judge" Bingham. Later correspondence is a mixture of literary and personal correspondence between Bingham and her colleagues and friends. Arranged chronologically by year.
