Carol and Pete continue to participate in activities sponsored by Seabrook Village. There are several pages of holiday cards and letters from friends and family including a letter from old friends Sho and Yoko Murayama from Japan. Camilla, Willliam, Melissa, Matthew and Charlie correspond throughout the year. Walt and Barbara Bradley cross paths with Floyd and Martha in Ravello, Italy. There are several articles from the Asbury Park Press featuring Herman A. Brown, owner of Ocean Grove's Pathway Market, the history of Ocean Grove, and 1950's nostalgia. Jennifer and John Longmire and their daughter Emily welcome Olivia Claire, born September 18, 2001. Floyd is now Executive Vice President of SDL International and is featured in the profile of their management team. Carol reflects on her childhood and how she and her parents sang along to records playing on a vintage Victrola phonograph. Compliments of Floyd, Carol celebrates her 80th birthday at the Jumping Brook Country Club with friends and family including her first cousin Jack McFarland from her father's side of the family. Her good friend Patsy Siciliano and her band P.S. 4 provided the music. Tori, Camilla, William and Melissa each speak to the guests and recount their memories of their beloved grandmother. There are several pictures of the event, including three with Carol and Adele Springsteen (Bruce's mother), and the celebration concludes with the ensemble performing "The Music of the Night" from Phantom of the Opera.
