Scope and content:

These files were originally housed in office binders, and consist of materials from chiefly local and regional conferences attended or organized by CJPC staff. Files typically include conference agendas, presentation materials, printed materials such as fliers and newsletters, and handwritten notes. Topics represented include the death penalty, substance abuse, re-entry, recidivism, community corrections, violence prevention, and alternatives to incarceration. Conferences include "Corrections at the Crossroads"; "Death Penalty: Trial and Post-Conviction"; "Invest in Change"; "Reducing Barriers to Re-Entry"; "Religious Community's Roles in Breaking the Cycle of Violence and Vengeance"; "Sustaining Services, Seminar for Key Decision Makers"; as well as materials for several smaller meetings and fundraising events. There are also materials from national-level conferences. Other conference materials and reports can be found in the Death Penalty and Printed Material series.
