Print Material, 1970-2009

Physical description:
21 boxes
Scope and content:

These publications originally were collected by CJCP staff and by director Lao Rubert to serve as a resource library for the organization. Reports, handbooks, and books predominate, but there are also articles and other formats such as pamphlets and clippings. There are many items created and published by non-profit organizations, foundations, and government agencies such as the U.S. Department of Justice, as well as pieces by individual authors.

Arrangement:

Arranged in two subseries: Carolina Justice Policy Center publications and publications by other organizations and individuals, arranged in alphabetical order by author name.

Separated material:

A handful of publications were removed by library staff for individual cataloging for the Rubenstein Library. Once cataloged, they can be located in the Duke Libraries catalog by searching for the collection name "Carolina Justice Policy Center."
