Predominantly consists of clippings and photocopies of articles, but also includes notes, bibliographies, and transcripts of interviews on male and female psychology, parent-child relations, sex roles, and sexual violence among other subjects. Arranged in alphabetical order by subject. Some audiocassettes and reel-to-reel tapes of various interviews by Chesler are housed at the end of this subseries.

The Phyllis Chesler Papers contain sensitive information regarding persons other than Phyllis Chesler. Therefore, patrons who wish to use this collection must sign a research agreement, which may be obtained from any Special Collections reference staff person.
The collection also includes oral history interviews in the form of audio recordings and hardcopy transcripts that do not have release forms transferring intellectual property rights from interviewees or interviewers to researchers using this collection. Researchers are cautioned that the publication of information contained in these interviews may violate the legal rights of interviewees or interviewers.
