- Biographical / historical:
- The Zagórskis were distant cousins to Joseph Conrad; he wrote letters to multiple generations of this family during his travels. The mother Aniela (Unrug) later ran a pension in Zakopane where Joseph Conrad and his family sheltered following the outbreak of WWI. The daughter Aniela Zagórski (1881-1943) would translate Conrad's works into Polish in the 1920s.
