- Biographical / historical:
- Possibly Tekla Syroczyńska. Her father Antoni had a school in L'viv that Joseph Conrad attended briefly before leaving for Marseilles and a career at sea. Conrad's father Apollo Korzeniowski was related to the Syroczyńskis and his uncle Stefan Bobrowski attended university with some of that family.
