Fireworks burst over the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, 2014

Box 1, Folder 1, Image 001
Scope and content:

Fireworks burst over the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in revitalized downtown Durham, N.C. on Independence Day, July 4, 2014. Durham's downtown withered with its tobacco industry, but has been revived by investment, hi-tech entrepreneurs, restaurants and a performing arts center. That prosperity has not reached everyone, however, and Durham remains economically and socially segregated as it transitions.
