Advertising copywriter and executive with Leo Burnett agency in Chicago, Ill. Worked at Allis-Chalmers and Toronto Daily Star newspaper before joining Leo Burnett as a copywriter in 1938. Promoted to copy supervisor in 1956 before moving to Kenyon & Eckhardt.
