Scope and content:

Assembled and maintained by photographer Earl Dotter, this large chronological publications file dates from 1970-2021, and documents Dotter's many photographic contributions to publications and other outreach. There are also items featuring short writings, interviews, or comments about Dotter's life, work, and career.

Note: Entries in this collection guide reflect highlights from each year, rather than a complete listing.

Many of the items were published by trade or union organizations and non-profit or federal agencies. Formats include: single articles, news clippings, booklets, brochures, calendars, fliers, single issues of magazines, pamphlets, posters, reports, and many serial issues. There are a few pieces of correspondence and one artifact in the form of a pin with a portrait of Louis Harrell, victim of "brown lung" disease.

Essentially a publications vertical file, this series is organized chronologically by year and then within by month or date.
