Life's Work: A Fifty Year Photographic Chronicle of Working In The U.S.A. (exhibit), 1968-2023

Extent:
6 Linear Feet (9 boxes)
Scope and content:

These photographs and associated materials formed a retrospective exhibit on occupational photojournalist Earl Dotter's career, which toured the U.S. from 2018 to 2023. These photographic images were selected from Dotter's past documentary projects, thus prints with the same images are also located in project series in this collection.

The matted photographs were presented on gridwall panels with captions written on the mats. They are numbered by Dotter in the order in which they were displayed.

Other materials in the series include a plan of the exhibit installation, a guest book, exhibit panels and captions, a poster, and a full color photobook maquette.

Arrangement:

The photographs are arranged in topical groups as presented in the traveling exhibit, and in the order in which they were displayed.

Physical facet:
101 photographic prints in 88 mats; paper and print materials
