Scope and content:

Images were taken by Earl Dotter to document hazardous conditions and health issues facing farmworkers, in this case Native Americans from Maine, and migrants from Mexico, Jamaica, and Honduras. Represented industries include berry picking, egg producing, tree farming, apple picking, and vegetable farming. This project resulted in a large traveling exhibit and related programming; a poster for the exhibit can be found in the Printed Materials series.
