Scope and content:

The color photographs in this series capture in rich detail the unpeopled interiors of private clubs and libraries in New York City. Among these are: the Explorer's Club, Grolier Club, Lotos Club, the India House, Player's Club, University Club, Friar's Club, Metropolitan Club, the Yale and Harvard clubs, N.Y. Bar Association, the Morgan Library, and many others. Original titles and identifiers were created by the photographer.

Material specific details:
The archival pigment photographs in this series were printed by Jim Dow in September 2021, using an Epson P5000 printer and Canson Baryta Photographique II paper. The smaller handling print sizes are: sheet size, 8½x11 inches; image size, 8x10 inches. The larger exhibit-quality prints are: sheet size, 13x19 inches; image size, 12x15 inches.
