Scope and content:

This series contains photographer Jim Dow's commissioned work. Many of the jobs originated in New England and in New York State; other images were taken in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and in Portugal and the U.K. There are several groups of photographs commissioned by educational institutions, including Brown University, MIT, the Phillips Andover Academy, Tufts University, Yale Law School, and the Rhode Island School of Design.

Original titles and identifiers were created by the photographer.

Material specific details:
The archival pigment photographs in this series were printed by Jim Dow in December 2022 and January 2023, using an Epson P5000 printer and Canson Baryta Photographique II paper. Approximate measurements for the handling prints are: sheet size, 8½x11 inches; image size, 8x10 inches. Approximate measurements for the exhibit-quality prints are: sheet size, 13x19 inches; image size, 12x15 inches.
