Collection consists of Oldsmobile (General Motors) proof pages removed from an agency binder. Acquired as part of the John W. Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising & Marketing History.

Biographical / historical:

Advertising agency founded in 1934 in Detroit, Michigan by D.P. Brother, a Vice-President with the Campbell-Ewald agency. Acquired by Leo Burnett 1967 and operated as a subsidiary until folded into Leo Burnett operations 1993.

Acquisition information:
The D.P. Brother. Oldsmobile advertising proofs were received by the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book Manuscript Library as a purchase in 2016.
