Nicolas Wines Collection, 1930-1973

Advertising and marketing materials produced for the retail wine chain Nicolas. Between 1931 and 1973, Dreager Frères printed all marketing materials for the company including its wine pamphlet that customers used to select the wine they will be purchasing. The company did not print a list in 1937, during World War II, or in the three years following the war (1940-1948). It only printed a 20-page tariff in 1952 and did not print a copy in 1968. Catalogs for Nicolas Wines feature illustrations by artists including Adolphe Édouard Mouron, Jean Hugo, and Alfred Latour.

- Founded in 1822, Maison Nicolas sold its bottled wine in a storefront in Paris and is recognized as the first company to do so.
