Scope and content:

Scrapbooks and photograph albums compiled by the Biddle family, as well as a couple boxes of loose photographs. Includes formal photographs, as well as many candid shots. Subjects include family, friends, and colleagues of Angier Biddle Duke, as well as many prominent politicians, foreign dignitaries, and celebrities (there are many images of the Kennedy family). Subjects also include events, such as the Zellerbach Commission's tour of post-war Europe, and often depict residences and estates.
