New Testament : 16mo, ffep & title page excised (and thus volume undated). Original sober blue buckram, boards ruled in blind, gilt lettering to upper board. Inscribed on front pastedown, in Pointillist style: "Edith M. O. Lees./ 26 April 1874[?]." and below, in a plain hand: "Edie M. O. Lees./ April 28th 1874." Front hinge finely cracked, very occasional pencil crosses, scribbles, plus one marginal note, beginning: "My dear Minnie [?]" (pp. 46-7). S.te Philmène illustrated prayer slip in French, with "R. O. Brim/Breen[?] from dear Edie" pencilled on reverse, laid in.
