Consists primarily of Federico's personal correspondence with friends and family, memorabilia from Abraham Lincoln High School and Pratt Institute, family memorabilia, and materials documenting his World War II service. Also includes original artwork (sketches, drawings, watercolors) by Gene and Helen Federico not related to their professional design or advertising work. Of particular note are four sketchbooks from World War II, composed of notes, sketches, designs, and clippings. Arranged alphabetically by folder title, chronologically therein when appropriate.
[Many original items in this series - sketchbooks and personal documents - have been photocopied and returned to the donor.]
