Asa Spaulding Project, 1978-1980

Scope and content:

This series consists largely of Fleming's notes and interview transcripts from his work as a research assistant for Asa Spaulding, who intended to write an autobiography in the early 1980s. Fleming conducted oral history interviews with many of Spaulding's acquaintances and colleagues in support of the project, and also researched Spaulding's personal history. Some audiotapes of interviews are available for research. Transcripts and notes are arranged alphabetically by interviewee.
