Methodist preacher, of Leeds, Yorkshire, England. Letter book (1760-1774), six letters, and three other documents. Primarily outgoing correspondence on religion, particularly Methodism, plus memoranda, copies of letters between JW and Mary Bosanquet, and extracts from the diary of Jane Cooper. The two loose items are letters to Crosby from JW and Mary Bosanquet Fletcher.
Includes a group of seven items related to the Sarah Crosby papers, according to a note by Baker; chiefly correspondence, transferred from the Frank Baker papers. See the individual notes for each item.
