The Writings Series includes the page proofs, typescripts, and handwritten manuscript pages of Garrett's recent poetry, non-fiction, and novels. Included in this series are several versions of Garrett's novel The King of Babylon Shall Not Come Against You, as well as his longer non-fiction pieces, Living with Elizabethans,Doing the Literary Thing, and Here and Now. The titles for the manuscript fragments and handwritten drafts were taken from the storage envelopes used by Garrett or are approximated from the text.
