The professional papers of feminist philosopher, Elizabeth (Liz) Grosz encompass her scholarly work.
The first series, Accession 2015-0029, consists of materials from the initial donation in 2015. It includes manuscript papers reflecting her scholarly work in both book and shorter formats; teaching files, which include her lecture notes and course syllabi; including her lectures, and students' works. Also included are information about speaking engagements, files about her education and career, some ephemera, and interviews and appearances.
The small second series, Accession 2017-0211, contains drafts of writings, interviews, and some correspondence.
The third series, Accession 2025-0095, consists of electronic records of drafts and information about Grosz's writings from the 1980s through the 2020s. The are subdivided into books, papers grouped by decades, and a CV from 2009. The papers sub-series also contain preparation for interviews Grosz has given to various periodicals.

Elizabeth Grosz (b. 1952) is an Australian-born philosopher and professor in the Women's Studies Department at Duke University. Since February 2024, she is the Jean Fox O'Barr Women's Studies Distinguished Professor Emerita and Professor Emerita of Program in Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Studies. Her research interests include the body, sexuality, space, time, and materiality.
She recieved both her bachelor's degree and PhD from the University of Sydney, where she later lectured. Previous institutions include Monash University in Australia, where she served as director of the newly created Institute of Critical and Cultural Studies; State University of New York at Buffalo; and Rutgers University.
She was also a visiting professor at University of Califoria, Santa Cruz; University of California, Davis; Johns Hopkins University; the University of Richmond; George Washington University; Harvard University; and the University of California, Irvine.
Her books include: Sexual Subversions: Three French Feminists (1989); Jacques Lacan: A Feminist Introduction (1990); Volatile Bodies: Toward a Corporeal Feminism (1994); Space, Time and Perversion: Essays on the Politics of Bodies (1995); Architecture from the Outside: Essays on Virtual and Real Space (2001); The Nick of Time: Politics, Evolution and the Untimely (2004); Time Travels: Feminism, Nature, Power (2005); Chaos, Territory, Art: Deleuze and the Framing of the Earth (2008); Becoming Undone. Darwinian Reflections on Life, Politics and Art (2011); and The Incorporeal: Ontology, Ethics, and the Limits of Materialism (2017).
