Collection is open for research.
However, the largest size prints (24x36) in the Mobile, Alabama series are closed to general use unless with permission by Curator of the Archive of Documentary Arts. Viewing copies are available.
Researchers must register and agree to copyright and privacy laws before using this collection.
All or portions of this collection may be housed off-site in Duke University's Library Service Center. The library may require up to 48 hours to retrieve these materials for research use.
Please contact Research Services staff before visiting the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library to use this collection.
Use copies are available as surrogates for the very large prints in the Cuba Auto/Landscapes, Game Boy, and Mobile series, and should be used whenever possible. Please consult with a reference archivist for access to the original prints.
