The Photographs and Facsimiles subseries includes 8x10, 4x7, and 5x9 inch photographs as well as 3x5 inch negatives collected by Robert Hill for research and production purposes for the UNIA volumes. Production elements include facsimiles on photographic paper, portraits and photographs of groups arranged by volume, if possible, and unarranged negatives. Research photographs include unidentified portraits and group photographs as well as negatives.
