Homer Jones (1906-1986) was a white American government economist. He was Research Director then Senior Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis beginning in 1958 and a key figure in the Bank's leadership in monetary research and statistics. He previously worked at Rutgers University, the University of Chicago, the Brookings Institute, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
