Text: "To the Gentlemen of the Faculty & Medical Students throughout the United States this Plate Engraved with the Drs. Permission at the request..." (Rest has been cut off; full text from other sources is available online.) Painted by J. Paul Jr., engraved and sold by James Akin, Philadelphia, 1800. Appears to be an early 20th century reproduction, brittle and darkened. Copies are located in box 8.
