Scope and content:

The majority of material in this subseries regards human rights abuses in Africa, including in Burundi, Ethopia/Eritrea, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Sudan, and in Latin American, especially in El Salvador. Other countries include Haiti, India, Chechnya, and Belarus. The subseries consists primarily of reports from, for example, Amnesty International, as well as general organizational and press records. "People" records include correspondence, press contacts and other figures involved in human rights projects, most prominently the South African Judge Richard Goldstone.
