This series contains magazines, books, and publication drafts of materials related to the Jazz Loft Project. Of particular note are galley proofs of Sam Stephenson's books "Dream Street: W. Eugene Smith's Pittsburgh Project" and "The Jazz Loft Project: Photographs and Tapes of W. Eugene Smith from 821 Sixth Avenue, 1957-1965", along with magazines featuring articles that were either written by Sam Stephenson, or which focus on the Jazz Loft building and the Jazz Loft Project. Other publications relate to individuals and subject matter either tangentially or directly related to the Jazz Loft, including Thelonious Monk, W. Eugene Smith, photography, and New York City.
