Will Faller (b 1941) was born in Patterson, New Jersey. A photographer, Faller occasionally assisted Smith with printing photos. He gave Smith a Wollensak tape recorder, among other pieces of recording equipment.
In this oral history, Faller discusses his relationship with W. Eugene Smith, particularly Smith's drinking and money issues. Faller also talks about his friendship with Charles Mingus, local New York City haunts of the time, and his professional work at Doyle Dane Bernbach.
