Contains audio and moving image materials in a variety of formats, including open reel audio tapes, audiocassettes, LPs, compact discs, digital audio tapes, VHS videocassettes, and Hi8. Materials are chiefly related to Jeffrey's time as director of the jazz programs at Rutgers and at Duke, including recordings of the Duke Jazz Ensemble, of visiting jazz musicians, and of various performances by Paul Jeffrey. Jeffrey's associations with the Aspen Music Festival and the North Carolina Umbria Jazz Festival are also documented. Additionally, the series contains commercial audio recordings (CDs and LPs) featuring Paul Jeffrey as a sideman or as a leader.
Arranged by format (audio cassettes, long-playing records, etc), and further subdivided into subject groupings. Original titles are retained.
