The primary focuses of the materials in this subseries are on the Jewish families and communities in various North Carolina cities, towns, and villages. The contents include clippings, articles, obituaries, newsletters, and individual, family, and synagogue and temple histories. Also included are primary manuscript materials, transcripts from oral histories, and photographs.

The folders in this subseries are arranged loosely in alphabetical order, reflecting the original order of the materials.
