Other topics include opinions of various writers, especially John Updike, teaching, and the authors' plans to meet. Includes envelopes.

Biographical / historical:

James A. Schiff is associate professor in the Department of English and Comparative Literature at the University of Cincinnati. He received his B.A. from Duke University and his M.A. and Ph.D. from New York University. He is the author or editor of five books on contemporary American fiction, including John Updike Revisited, Understanding Reynolds Price, and Updike in Cincinnati.

Acquisition information:
The James A. Schiff Collection of Reynolds Price Letters was received by the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book Manuscript Library as a gift in 2016.
