Scope and content:

Consists of letters both to and from Gilow. Correspondents include Benton and Bowles, Franz Burda, Deltakos Division, Deutsher Fachverlag, GWA, Harbridge House Europe, Hax-Arbeitskreis, Heumann Werbegesellschaft, Managers' Meeting, Marketing Club, Young and Rubicam, and officers from other JWT offices including Don Johnston. Also contains interoffice memoranda, printed material, articles, clippings, reports and a transcript. Arranged in chronological order by year, then alphabetically by correspondent. Please note that the filing system used combined I and J, P and Q, and X through Z, and after 1976, also combined C and D, N and O, and T and V. Unique to the German language, the letter S is followed by SCH and ST. Within the folders, Items are in reverse chronological order.
