Nestlé-Rowntree, 1958-1997
- Biographical / historical:
- Rowntree's was established by Henry Isaac Rowntree in 1862 in York. The company merged with John Mackintosh and Co. in 1969 to form Rowntree Mackintosh and became Rowntree plc in 1987. In 1988 Rowntree was acquired by Nestlé SA and operated as Nestlé Rowntree.
